Making sure it is prepared for the future of marketing and advertising for its new-home neighborhoods, local residential builder Brookfield Homes has announced Debby King as the new director of marketing at its San Diego/Riverside division.

With more than 10 years of experience, King is responsible for all aspects of marketing for the Del Mar-based homebuilder with new-home neighborhoods now selling throughout San Diego and Riverside counties. Among King’s first main responsibilities is to improve the division’s online presence, including major improvements to the company’s website.  She is also charged with analyzing all online marketing avenues for the highest ROI for the company.

Among her day-to-day responsibilities, King will oversee all marketing strategy, including online and traditional media, marketing budgets, model home merchandising, new-home neighborhood brochures, community signage, market research and more.

According to Heramb, King brings an extensive range of skills to the position, including strategic planning and forecasting; return on investment marketing; process improvement; innovative and creative direction; lead generation; online advertising; search engine marketing; search engine optimization; management of advertising and public relations agencies; and direct to consumer advertising.

A cum laude graduate with bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and liberal studies from the California State University at Fresno, King’s educational background also includes several intensive marketing courses she has taken toward earning a master’s degree in business administration from the Sid Craig School of Business. King is a San Diego resident.
