I’m into you, He’s Just Not that Into You

Despite its poor ratings on rottentomatoes.com, my go-to movie review source, I decided to watch Ken Kwapis’, He’s Just Not that Into You. I was pleasantly surprised by the somewhat unpredictable course of the movie. It is rare that a chick flick contains any element of surprise, but it did! Justin Long was my standout character. By the end of the movie, I found him oddly attractive and charming. ScarJo was equally fabulous, mastering the role of the tempting, dangerous lover. After watching this film, and Woody Allen’s, Vicky Cristina Barcelona recently, I’ve seen a side of ScarJo I hadn’t seen before. Way to heat up the silver screen, Miss Thing.
Jennifer Connoly added some drama to the scene, though I must admit, I was distracted by her late Balenciaga ads, floating through my head. Beniffer was cute (Jennifer Anniston and Ben Affleck), though I am getting kind of tired of watching Jen play the same roles. She’s beginning to remind me of a mopey Meredith Gray (circa Season 4 of Gray’s Anatomy).
Bottom line, rent it on iTunes, grab some lite-buttery popcorn, and have fun.
